It’s not been easy for teachers or students since March 2020. The disruption to learning, the rapid change to online learning and the task of assessing students based on teacher judgements have had an impact on everyone. It’s likely that the disruption to learning, teaching and assessment will continue for the coming months and there is a possibility that further changes will have an impact on the nature of the exam diet and SQA assessments. We’ve been 21 years providing assessments for SQA examinations and this year we want to help support schools to carry out assessments and gather evidence for grading and potentially appeals. We are making our National 5 paper A available to all schools for free. No catches, we will ship it to you free of charge. Just order it via the web site or in the usual way and use code FREE2021.
Computing ScienceWe also have a National 5 Paper B, two papers for Higher and an Advanced Higher paper which can be used as prelims and evidence of student performance.Each paper matches the latest SQA format and includes full marking instructions and a PowerPoint file to be used when providing feedback on the paper to students following the exam. All papers contain new sight unseen questions and are written by teachers with many years experience of writing and assessing SQA examinations. We have a new writing team for 2020/21.
